Lectro Chi Ion Energy Ionic Spa is equipped with a dual polarity switch. This switch allows you to switch between the "Cleansing" or "Energy" setting. This dual polarity switch is important, because in rare instances an individual may become nauseated or light-headed during a "Cleansing" session and this can be remedied quickly by moving the switch to the "Energy" setting for a couple of minutes.

For healthy adults we recommend 30 minutes on the "Cleansing" setting and 10 minutes on the "Energy" setting. However, it is not uncommon for many individuals to do a 5 to 10-minute energy session on a daily basis.

Session Preparation:

• Place the Lectro Chi Premier Energy Ionic Spa on a safe and solid surface. It is imperative that the vents providing airflow located at the bottom of the spa are not restricted by carpet or other materials.
• Connect the power cord from the Lectro Chi Premier Energy Ionic Spa to a grounded 110V AC duplex outlet.
• Place a clean towel on the floor in front of the area where you will be administering the session. (The water from most sessions will stain carpet, rugs, etc. The towel is to help preserve the flooring.)
• Have clean towels or paper towels available for cleaning the feet or hands.
• Keep a spray bottle or container filled with water available. The water will be used to clean residue from the feet or hands after the session.
• Prepare a mineral cocktail and place it in a location accessible for the individual undergoing a session. A mineral cocktail consists of angstrom, colloidal, and macro minerals. Lectro Life Technologies, LLC has formulated a synergistic blend of these minerals in the form of ZeoTerrain, which is included in the initial package.
• For easy cleanup and sanitary purposes, line the tub with a plastic liner.
• Fill the plastic-lined tub with water until the water line is just above the top plate of the water module or around 3.5 - 4 inches of water. The water temperature should be approximately tepid – 102°F.
• Add 0.25 tsp. of Dead Sea Salt to the session water. If the session will be running at a higher amperage, use more Dead Sea Salt. Using more Dead Sea Salt increases the conductivity of the water, which enables the Lectro Chi Ionic Spa to operate more efficiently.
• Carefully place the tub on the towel where the session will be administered.
• Set the mood. Clear your mind and focus on achieving clarity and balance. This can be done by dimming the lights and listening to relaxing and uplifting music. Read motivational material, meditate, or take a power nap during the session.

Using the Ionic Spa:

• Place the Ion on a flat, stable, and dry surface.
• Fill the tub with water until the water line is just above the top plate of the water module.
• Add 0.25 tsp. of Dead Sea Salt to the session water.
• Insert water module jack in the "Module" receiver jack.
• Set switch to "Energy" or "Cleansing".
• Place feet or hands in the session water.

CAUTION: Never attempt to adjust the switch on the Ionic Spa with wet hands.

IMPORTANT: If the LED indicator flashes or ceases to illuminate, this is an indicator that the amperage has exceeded the maximum limit. Add water to the tub until the LED illuminates without flashing. If this is not achieved, empty the current session water and start over using less Dead Sea Salt.It is imperative that a steady stream of bubbles is being produced by the water module. If very few bubbles are being generated add 0.25 tsp. of Dead Sea Salt. Repeat if needed until a steady stream of bubbles is being produced.IMPORTANT: If the LED indicator flashes or ceases to illuminate, this is an indicator that the amperage has exceeded the maximum limit. After The Session:

• Finish drinking a mineral cocktail consisting of angstrom, colloidal, and macro minerals.
• Thoroughly rinse your feet or hands with water and completely dry them with a towel/paper towels. You can also clean your feet or hands with a salt scrub mixed with essential oils.
• Remove the Water Module Quick Connect from the Module Receiver Jack. Clean the Water Module Array according to the instructions provided in this manual.
• Dispose of the session water in a toilet carefully by pouring it slowly to avoid splashing. The session water contains minerals and biologics that may cause staining.
• Dispose of the plastic liner in the proper trash or recycling receptacle.
• Rinse the session tub with a solution of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar.
• Clean the area where the Ionic Spa session was administered.
• Move the switch to the center (OFF) position.

Cleaning the Water Module Array:

The Water Module is an integral part of the Lectro Chi Premier Ionic Spa. Lectro Chi Water Modules are skillfully manufactured in the USA using 8 ft. of double-insulated copper conductive cable and 3 surgical stainless steel plates. The combination of copper conductive cable and surgical stainless steel plates ensures the steady flow of uncontaminated DC current. Proper cleaning and sterilization of the Water Module Array are essential for proper operation and sanitation.

• Rinse the Water Module Array thoroughly to remove debris from the plates.
• Spray the Water Module Array with a solution of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar. The Water Module Array may also be soaked in a container with the same mixture.
• With the Water Module Array still wet from the cleaning solution, dust the array liberally with baking soda. Foaming will occur.
• Once the foaming has subsided, use a wooden popsicle stick or brush to clean the Water Module Array. Clean both sides of all the stainless steel plates contained in the Water Module Array.
• Rinse the Water Module Array thoroughly.

Precautions 

• All individuals should be well-hydrated before a session.
• All individuals should drink a mineral cocktail before, during, or after the ionic spa session. A mineral cocktail consists of angstrom, colloidal, and macro minerals. Lectro Life Technologies, LLC has formulated a synergistic blend of these minerals in the form of ZeoTerrain, which is included in the initial package.
• Diabetics and individuals with low blood sugar should eat a meal or a healthy snack before a session.
• If an individual experiences dizziness, headache, or nausea during a session, set the polarity switch to "Energy" for one to two minutes and end the session. The individual can try again in a couple of days with a shorter session. The goal is to gradually increase the duration of each session until the individual can enjoy the benefits of a full session.
• NEVER REUSE THE SESSION WATER.
• Keep the Premier Energy Ionic Spa away from water. A water module with a 6-foot cable is included to ensure a safe operating distance.
• Always place the Premier Energy Ionic Spa on a dry, level, and stable operating surface.
• Never handle the Premier Energy Ionic Spa with wet hands.
• Never place the Premier Energy Ionic Spa's power supply in water.
• Never operate the Premier Energy Ionic Spa during an electrical storm.
• Never allow children or incapacitated individuals to operate the Premier Energy Ionic Spa.
• Never attempt to repair or service the Premier Energy Ionic Spa. Doing so will void the warranty, and if improperly repaired, it could cause serious injury.
• Always operate the Premier Energy Ionic Spa according to the provided guidelines for safe and effective use.
